Our Budget
STC has an estimated annual budget of $100,000 per year. STC is wholly funded by its member communities based upon an annual dues and expense assessment formula based upon population. STC does not accumulate excess funds from year to year, but simply takes in the funds necessary to provide its members with adequate support and services on this dynamic and ever-changing issue. Current member dues are $500 per year with an additional expense assessment of $.08 per capita. The expense assessment is capped at a maximum of $10,000 annually. As more cities join STC, the per capita expense assessment decreases. Contemplated within this budget is the potential to commission our own study to evaluate and comment on the economic impact of a change and bolster STC’s position.
